NextPhase Wireless, a connectivity company specializing in integrated Internet, voice and data communication solutions, announced it has joined the WiMAX Forum, the industry-led non-profit organization that promotes and certifies the interoperability and certification of broadband wireless products based on the IEEE 802.16 standard and ETSI HiperMAN wireless MAN specifications. NextPhase Wireless, located in Anaheim, CA., provides wireless technology solutions to businesses and municipalities and also designs, deploys and operates its own wireless networks. NextPhase Wireless offers a comprehensive portfolio of broadband solutions to meet customers' demands today by leveraging its full-service capabilities and world-class infrastructure.
NextPhase Wireless CEO Robert Ford stated, "The WiMAX Forum stimulates the development of new products based on the IEEE 802.16 standard and that may create new revenue opportunities for NextPhase Wireless. NextPhase Wireless has extensive experience incorporating best available technologies into its product line, and WiMAX Forum(TM) certification is the next logical step as we continue to provide our customers with the latest connectivity solutions for today's marketplace."
