Global WiMAX Leaders in Beijing Demo First Interoperable WiMAX Products
Global WiMAX leaders convened this week for the first WiMAX Forum Plenary Meeting held in Asia. This meeting runs concurrently with the Global WiMAX Summit, a China event promoting WiMAX. Expected attendance for the combined events will reach 2500.
During the WiMAX Forum Plenary, WiMAX Forum member companies hold working group sessions. Plus in both events, manufacturers of systems and applications providers are showing latest products and services running on WiMAX technology. In addition, vendors demonstrate applications running on their products. These events illustrate the tremendous potential and highlight the recent global interest in delivering broadband wireless services using WiMAX technology in China as well as worldwide.
