TowerStream COO to Speak at Major European WiMAX Events

TowerStream, the leading fixed wireless Internet provider, today announced the company's President and COO,
Jeffrey Thompson, will be participating in two upcoming global WiMAX events in Berlin and Madrid.

As an expert on WiMAX and wireless broadband, Thompson will be delivering an opening-day keynote at IQPC (International Quality & Productivity Center)'s WiMAX: The Certification Conference on September 28th in Berlin, Germany. Thompson will then travel to Madrid, Spain to participate in an industry panel at the WiMAX Global ComForum on October 5th.

Having spoken at major industry events throughout the United States, Mr. Thompson will share with the global WiMAX community his business experience with the emerging 802.16 standard and TowerStream's success in delivering reliable wireless broadband to the largest cities in the U.S. His presence at both conferences will help spread the word about the potential of widespread WiMAX proliferation both in the U.S. and throughout the world and illustrate that the future of wireless broadband is a global issue.
